We set up the Ullswater Centre in 1999 on the shores of Lake Ullswater in Cumbria, England, where we lived and worked
for five years. We're now based in Oswestry, enabling us to be more accessible to people throughout the country and abroad.
In 1993 we had flown to Australia to be with Barry Long, the Australian spiritual master, for the first of what was to
be an annual international gathering. We came together as partners through Barry's teaching and had both recognised
this as a climacteric in our lives - the point of departure into the unknown.

We travelled extensively throughout the last decade to be with Barry whenever we could. His unique teaching,
particularly relating to the love between man and woman, continues to encourage, confront and inspire us in
our life and in our work.
The presence and truth of the master, and what we have been privileged to
receive, is indelibly imprinted at the core of our being. In deep respect and love, we acknowledge Barry Long as
the source of our inspiration. Thank you, Barry, for doing the impossible and so making it possible for those that follow.
